Before breakfast

A colleague recommended a short missive to me last week — a quick one-hour read that left me energized to make some real changes in how I approach each day.

The habits I read about were put in place the next morning at 5AM.  Life and work has become so busy that I squeezed out some really important behaviors from my day in an effort to get the “important” stuff done.  What I didn’t realize is that the things I eliminated were the very things that had made me hyper productive in the first place.  I know…duh, should have seen that coming.  Sometimes the best writing just reminds us of what we already know and are failing to apply.
